With this release, the quartet completes its sensational complete recording of the Mozart string quartets on the CAvi music label, which began in 2015, and carries out essential research work for a modernized reading of the original musical text. The complete box with all seven CDs will be available next autumn. As a logical consequence of their appointment as the first ambassador of the initiative "Orchester des Wandels e.V." in May 2022, the Armida Quartet has also campaigned for an environmentally friendly production of their CD: Together with the label CAvi-music, they had the factory research climate-friendly materials, so that the printed matter including a three-part digipack could be made of climate-friendly recycled cardboard and paper.
