The Armida Quartet has been appointed an ambassador of the "Orchestras of Change" initiative. This association including numerous well-known orchestras has assigned itself the task of establishing topics of sustainability and climate protection in the cultural sector. The association has already made significant progress through green touring guides, green guidelines for sustainability in concert operations, climate concerts and reforestation projects. In this way it has demonstrated its’ commitment to ensuring that an awareness of sustainability is permanently raised in the classical music industry and is put to the forefront in future planning. The Armida Quartet has been working for some time according to guidelines created together with sustainability managers and will support the "Orchestras of Change" initiative through joint projects in the future.
